## Overview

*Enrich student life, encourage sporting participation, and simplify extracurricular administration with a unified platform for club scheduling, sports fixtures, real-time QR attendance registers, and engagement analytics.*

Extracurricular activities, lunchtime clubs, and sports fixtures form an essential pillar of a well-rounded education, driving pupil wellbeing, character development, and school community spirit. However, managing dozens of disparate clubs across multiple departments often results in lost paper registers, safeguarding blind spots regarding student whereabouts after school, unrecorded attendance data, and time-consuming manual fixture tracking.

The **Clubs & Fixtures** module centralises extracurricular provision across the whole school. Club leaders can schedule regular meetings, manage team rosters, project session QR codes for instant student self-registration, and record match results. Departmental leaders and administrators gain real-time oversight of daily student attendance, comprehensive participation statistics across houses and year groups, automated attendance reminder workflows, and pupil achievement badges.

* **Instant QR Code & Digital Registers**: Generate on-screen or printable session QR codes allowing pupils to check in instantly using their mobile devices via the **Pupil Portal**, alongside full manual register controls for staff.
* **Real-Time Daily Attendance Monitor (`/clubs/pupils/today`)**: Provide duty staff, office administrators, and transport coordinators with an up-to-the-minute list of all pupils participating in clubs today for enhanced safeguarding and bus departure coordination.
* **Pupil Roster & Membership Directory**: Enrol students into specific clubs, track individual engagement histories, and export detailed membership rosters to Excel or CSV.
* **Participation Analytics & House Trends (`/clubs/statistics`)**: Explore interactive engagement metrics and charts aggregated by house, form, and year group over customisable date ranges to identify underrepresented cohorts and celebrate student achievements.
* **Extracurricular Achievement Badges**: Automatically award gamified milestone badges (such as *First Timer*, *Regular Attender*, *Club Explorer*, *Team Player*, and *Commitment Champion*) to motivate sustained student involvement.
* **Direct Navigation & Integration**: Seamlessly connected with the **Pupil Portal** and school-wide MIS rosters for effortless student synchronisation.
