## Overview

*Empower students with a modern, mobile-friendly personal portal to view extracurricular club schedules, track match fixtures, record instant meeting attendance, and monitor house achievements.*

Student engagement in extracurricular activities, sports fixtures, and the school house system plays a fundamental role in personal development, wellbeing, and building a thriving school community. However, keeping pupils informed about upcoming sessions, fixture locations, and attendance records is often hindered by fragmented noticeboards, paper sign-up sheets, and disconnected spreadsheets.

The **Pupil Portal** (Pupil Area) module provides every student with a personalised, secure digital dashboard tailored to their school life. Through direct integration with the **Clubs & Fixtures** module, school MIS data, and single sign-on (SSO) authentication, pupils can view their scheduled activities, verify fixture results, check in to meetings in real time using QR codes, earn achievement badges, and inspect school-wide house and year group participation analytics.

### Key Capabilities

* **Personalised Pupil Dashboard**: A dedicated home screen showing all upcoming and historical club meetings, scheduled sports fixtures, opponent information, and home/away locations.
* **Instant QR Code Attendance Check-In**: On the day of a club meeting or fixture, pupils can scan a session QR code or click a direct link to instantly register their attendance from their mobile device.
* **Sports Fixture Tracking & Match Scores**: View live and historical fixture scores with visual indicators highlighting wins, draws, and losses.
* **Achievement Badges & Gamification**: Showcase milestone badges and extracurricular recognitions awarded to individual pupils on their profile header.
* **House & Year Group Analytics**: An interactive statistical dashboard allowing pupils to explore extracurricular participation trends across houses, forms, and year groups over customisable date ranges.
* **Single Sign-On (SSO) & Secure Authentication**: Seamless student access via Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or standard email verification with dedicated pupil security guards.
* **Staff Impersonation for Pastoral Support**: Authorised pastoral leaders and administrators can securely impersonate pupil accounts to assist students, troubleshoot view configurations, or verify student access.
* **Automated MIS & Wonde Synchronisation**: Seamlessly ingest and update pupil rosters, forms, year groups, houses, and demographic records from your school's Management Information System (MIS).
